Job summary

Marsh is seeking a skilled Investments Data analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave. The role is based in Sydney or Melbourne with a hybrid setup requiring three days in the office each week.

You will contribute to the implementation and ongoing operation of the investment data management platform and partner with stakeholders across investments and technology. You will analyse investment data feeds, support governance, data quality, and reporting, and bring strong

Qualifications

Degree qualification in finance, economics, mathematics or a related analytical discipline.
Proven experience in investment data analysis within a multi-asset manager, superannuation fund or similar environment.
Well-developed knowledge of investment data, instruments and data feeds; proficient in Excel, VBA, SQL and relational databases.
Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate with investment professionals.

Responsibilities

Analyse, validate and manage investment data feeds across asset classes and data types.
Manage routine BAU tasks and provide day-to-day operational oversight.
Support the implementation and operation of the investment data management platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data issues and improve data quality.
Contribute to testing, process mapping, documentation and governance activities.
Support broader project tasks and cross-team initiatives.
