Job summary

EC Engineers, a family-owned firm on the Gold Coast, seeks a Forensic/Structural Engineer. The role is full-time and hybrid, with site inspections 2-3 days per week and occasional travel across Australia. Training and mentoring are provided by an experienced team.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's in Engineering (structural preferred) and have strong report-writing and communication skills. A company car and travel benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably structural, is essential.
• Strong written reports and ability to present technical findings clearly.
• Good verbal communication and ability to relate to clients at all levels.
• Experience with building codes and Australian Standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to identify causes of building failures using engineering principles.
• Analyse failures and advise on remedial procedures.
• Prepare technical reports outlining causes, recommendations and scope of works.
• Assist with engineering designs as required and maintain client relationships.
