Job summary

CPB Contractors in Melbourne is seeking a Hybrid Consulting Project Manager Delivery Growth to drive the delivery of a large-scale data centre build. You will coordinate supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers, balancing schedule, cost and quality while keeping teams aligned and focused on the end goal.

You will lead design, procurement and site teams, navigate challenges and make timely decisions to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large construction projects with accountable outcomes.
• Understanding of precast, structures or major building packages.
• Ability to quickly build trust with subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
• Calm, practical approach when plans deviate.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of how decisions affect the bigger picture.
• Confidence to make decisions and back yourself.
• Strong communication skills to bring people with you.
• Experience on large, complex projects with many moving parts.

Responsibilities

• Keep a critical part of the project moving and aligned with the direction.
• Work with supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers to stay ahead of issues.
• Balance programme, cost, quality and delivery without losing sight of priorities.
• Coordinate design, procurement and site teams to keep things running smoothly.
• Have conversations needed when timelines slip or priorities change.
• Make decisions, solve problems and guide the team through curveballs of a major build.
• Support engineers and site teams while giving them room to do their best work.
• Turn plans on paper into real outcomes.
