Job summary

The Royal Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced Communications Advisor to join the small, dynamic Communications team. This permanent, full-time role focuses on creating engaging content, building trusted stakeholder relationships, and delivering impactful internal and external campaigns in a fast-paced health setting.

You will manage media inquiries, support initiatives like the Good Friday Appeal, and work across print and digital content.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification or relevant industry experience is essential (2–3 years).
• Experience producing print and digital content.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
• Proven success in the development, implementation and evaluation of internal communications and change management strategies.
• Experience in managing events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic communications campaigns.
• Provide high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle media enquiries and be part of a weekly on-call media roster.
• Support initiatives like the Good Friday Appeal.
