Job summary

HammondCare is hiring a Cloud Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support hybrid cloud infrastructure across Azure and on‑prem environments. You will manage Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, and core services while ensuring secure, reliable technology delivery.

The role requires 3–5 years in cloud/infrastructure, strong Azure expertise, virtualization experience, and knowledge of security, backup, and disaster recovery. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a Cloud Systems Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer role.
• Strong design and support experience across enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud, Windows Server, and modern virtualization.
• Experience with identity, security, networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and optimise hybrid cloud infrastructure across Azure and on‑prem environments.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, and core infrastructure services.
• Manage Azure resources, identity, storage, networking, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Provide Level3 troubleshooting of complex infrastructure and cloud issues.
• Lead upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption projects.
