Glen Eira City Council’s Arts & Culture team is seeking a part-time Arts & Culture Major Events Officer to deliver a vibrant program of events that engage the community. Reporting to the Events Team Leader, you will coordinate projects from planning through to delivery and evaluation with artists, contractors and internal stakeholders.

You will manage event planning, budgets, build strong relationships, prepare reports and funding applications, and contribute to continuous improvement within a

Competenze

• Demonstrated experience coordinating arts, cultural, community or major events and managing projects within established timeframes.
• Sound knowledge of arts and cultural programming, event management principles and community engagement practices.
• Well-developed communication skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office and relevant administrative systems.

• Managing event planning, operations and project documentation to support successful program delivery.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships and providing advice on arts and cultural initiatives and opportunities.
