Job summary

Xplor in Melbourne, Australia is seeking an Application Support & Testing Specialist. The role is full‑time, hybrid, with 2–3 days in the office and the rest from home. You will investigate, diagnose and test software issues, reproduce defects and verify fixes while meeting SLAs.

Strong SQL and Excel skills are required, with experience supporting software users and internal teams. Salary is up to AUD 84,000 plus super, and Australia-based applicants only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in IT or related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel for data validation.
• Ability to investigate data discrepancies and support issue resolution.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and global orgs.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, diagnose, test and resolve escalated application support cases within SLAs.
• Analyse errors, data issues and system behaviour using logs and tools.
• Reproduce issues in test/support environments and document findings.
• Prepare tests, perform regression checks and validate changes.
• Document root causes, workarounds and resolutions for recurring issues.
• Develop and maintain knowledge bases and troubleshooting guides.
