Job summary

Canon Business Services is looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager to drive a portfolio of IT software projects within our PMO. You will coordinate with customers, internal teams and vendors to deliver complex outcomes on time and within budget.

You will manage multiple projects across Canberra, Sydney or Perth, applying Agile, Scrum or iterative delivery methods and reporting to governance forums and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a customer-facing IT project manager delivering complex software projects.
• Proven success leading projects using Agile, Scrum or iterative delivery methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple levels.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
• Solid commercial acumen including budget, forecasting and change control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including project reporting.
• Experience using project delivery tools such as Microsoft Project and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple customer projects using Agile delivery practices.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources and quality outcomes.
• Manage scope changes and other project variations following project change control process.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders across project lifecycles.
• Proactively identify, manage and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinate delivery teams, technical specialists and third-party partners.
• Prepare and present project updates, dashboards and status reports to governance forums.
• Maintain accurate project forecasts, resource plans and revenue projections.
• Support smooth transitions from project delivery into ongoing operational support.
