Job summary

Canberra Mechanical Services is seeking an HVAC Technician & Air Conditioning Installer to join our Canberra team. Immediate start available for a driven tradesperson. You will work on commercial and domestic maintenance with a strong emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

You will install various systems, coordinate with builders and site managers, and maintain clean, safe work practices. Join a friendly, professional team delivering quality workmanship in a local company.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• ARCtick licence.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Construction White Card.
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa.
• Asbestos Awareness Card 10675NAT or ability to possess.
• Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention 10830NAT or ability to possess.
• Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card or ability to possess.

Responsibilities

• Install VRF/VRV, ducted, packaged and split systems on commercial projects.
• Install ductwork, grilles, diffusers and exhaust and ventilation systems.
• Run, braze and insulate refrigerant and condensate pipework.
• Install supports, brackets, hangers and plant platforms.
• Set out from drawings and work to the specification and project schedule.
• Work alongside builders, site managers and other trades.
• Prepare and follow SWMS and take part in pre-starts and toolbox talks.
• Keep job records, photos and timesheets in AroFlo.

Commercial Air Conditioning Installer

Responsibilities:
