Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation invites applications for an HVAC technician role servicing the Geelong region. You will troubleshoot, test, repair and maintain air conditioning systems, chillers and related equipment, with exposure to Carrier's product training and BMS systems.

The role emphasizes ownership of issues, high quality and customer service, and opportunities to contribute to regional growth and profitability within a global OEM environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Knowledge of quality assurance procedures.
• Experience with HVAC systems and components.
• Cert 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration required.
• Air-conditioning and refrigeration Supervisors licence required.
• Current and valid Australian driver's licence.
• OEM training or experience is highly regarded.

About the role

This role will service the Geelong Region. Working for a global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) you will be provided with a range of exciting opportunities, including exposure to our in-house product training with Chillers and Building Management Systems (BMS).

Day to day this role will involve routine troubleshooting, testing, repairs, and maintenance on air conditioning systems, chillers and other commercial equipment.

Key responsibilities:

• Routine troubleshooting
• Testing repairs and maintenance on air conditioning systems, chillers and other commercial equipment
• Taking ownership of problems and following through to resolution
• Focusing on high standards of quality, delivery excellence whilst exceeding customer service expectations
• Involvement in growing our sales, increasing our market share and growing the net profitability of our company

Requirements:

• A high level of communication skills (oral and written)
• Knowledge of quality assurance procedures
• Experience with HVAC systems and comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems and components
• Cert 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Air-conditioning and refrigeration Supervisors licence
• Current and valid Australian driver's licence
• Training/experience from OEM highly regarded (nice if)
