Job summary

McKinnon Heating & Cooling is seeking a motivated and reliable 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice to join our installation and service team. You will assist qualified electricians with installation, maintenance and electrical works for residential and commercial HVAC systems.

This hands-on role offers practical experience, technical development and the opportunity to build a long-term career within the HVAC industry. This is a hands-on role with a clear training path and safety emphasis.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice in Australia.
• Basic understanding of electrical installation practices and safety.
• Current Victorian driver's license (preferred).
• Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical installations for HVAC systems.
• Run cables, install conduits and components under supervision.
• Support fault finding, testing and commissioning of systems.
• Read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Maintain service records and documentation.
