Job summary

Hughes Air in Melbourne is seeking a 1st or 2nd year mechanical plumbing heating/cooling apprentice to join a small, friendly team. Full support and training will be provided, with hands-on experience servicing, maintaining, repairing and installing air conditioning units domestically.

Applicants should have strong communication, good physical fitness, reliability and a willingness to learn; must hold a valid Australian driver’s licence, own transport or be able to be dropped off to Beaconsfield

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and personal presentation.
• Good physical fitness for work including climbing ladders and lifting.
• Reliable and punctual; focused and eager to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and take direction from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Working on a wide range of air conditioning units domestically.
• Servicing, maintenance, repairs and completing installations.
