Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Skilled Labourer for immediate start across a variety of sites in the region. Earn $35.11 per hour + super and a daily travel allowance, with weekly pay and ongoing casual assignments. Permanent pathways may follow successful placements.

Ideal candidates have 12 months' general labour or Trade Assistant experience, a Construction White Card, a valid driver licence, and the ability to perform physically demanding work. PPE provided by you but required on site.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Container unloading
• Site clean-ups and final cleans
• General manual handling duties

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant

PPE Requirements
