Job summary

Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions in Australia is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner on a fixed-term parental leave cover from December 2026 to March 2028 to support ER/IR across a diverse operational environment.

You will lead investigations, grievances and case management, advise leaders on performance and workplace issues, and contribute to Enterprise Agreements, Awards and employment law while coordinating employee representative meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong employee relations and industrial relations capability.

About the role:

Sandvik is seeking an experienced and practical Human Resources Business Partner with strong skills in IR and ER to join our team on a fixed-term contract on a parental leave coverage role starting December 2026 until March 2028.

Help shape a positive and high-performing workplace through culture initiatives, business improvement projects, and people-focused support across a diverse operational environment. In this role you will:

• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Strong communication, conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
• A practical, solutions-focused approach and sound judgement
• Experience supporting HR projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement
