About the Role

You’ll join a high performing, friendly team of professionals that strive every day to support our employees and people leaders with excellence. Reporting to the Human Resources and Workforce Planning Coordinator, you’ll work closely with two Senior Human Resources Business Partners to provide timely and effective advice on a range of HR matters such as compliance with policies and enterprise agreements. The role will spend time at both our Civic Centre and Depot buildings and will involve employee relations matters and key HR and Workforce Planning projects.

Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate, timely and practical HR advice on matters across the employment life cycle.
  • Support recruitment and selection processes.
  • Support the resolution of employee relations matters, such as grievance management and performance discussions.
  • Draft and contribute to the development, review and communication of HR policies, procedures and guidance materials.
  • Assist with key HR and Workforce Planning project work.
Skills And Experience
  • A practical HR professional with experience providing advice and support in medium to large complex organisational environments.
  • Contemporary knowledge of HR practices, industrial relations and employment legislation.
  • Skilled in recruitment processes, including active participation in interviews.
  • Customer‑focused, able to build strong relationships and provide timely, pragmatic solutions.
  • Analytical and detail‑oriented, with ability to interpret workforce data and prepare reports.
  • Adaptable, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Tertiary qualified in Human Resources or related field, or with substantial advisory experience.
