Job summary

Electro Optic Systems Holdings is seeking an HSEQ Manager to lead the HSEQ team and maintain the QMS to guarantee customer confidence in processes and products. The role is based at Hume, Canberra, with a 12-month full-time fixed-term to cover parental leave.

Primary duties include executive control of the QMS, driving a world-class quality culture, and integrating environmental and safety systems. The role requires collaboration across functions and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar capacity.
• Recognised qualification in applicable field of study.
• Teams and individuals collaboration.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead outcomes and deliverables systematically.

Responsibilities

• Executive Control over EOS's QMS and internal product & process standards affecting customer, production & supplier quality.
• Develop and maintain a World Class Quality Organization and a risk-based QMS culture.
• Integrate environmental and occupational health and safety into an Integrated Management System.
• Maintain compliance with Management System processes.
• Maintain KPIs in line with Management System.
• Drive continual improvement across the business.
• Ensure processes/documentation align with contract requirements.
• Develop and train staff on root cause and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Foster cross-functional alignment to support profitability and compliance culture.
• Perform other duties as required by VP Production & Support.
