Job summary

Pact Packaging is seeking an HSES Advisor to provide hands-on support and drive consistent implementation of Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability systems across our Australian sites. You will help create a safer, compliant workplace and partner with site leaders.

Key responsibilities include risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, training delivery, and driving continuous improvement. A strong collaborator with WHS knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability roles within manufacturing, logistics or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and incident investigation.
• Confident communicator who can influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, solutions-focused and passionate about continuous improvement.
• Strong administrative and computer skills.
• Current driver's licence.
• HSES Auditor qualifications or training (desirable).
• ICAM investigation experience (desirable).
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge (desirable).
• Experience in a large or multinational organisation (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Champion a positive safety culture and lead HSES initiatives across the site.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Support the implementation of HSES systems, policies and compliance requirements.
• Drive corrective actions, continuous improvement and risk mitigation activities.
• Deliver HSES training, coaching and awareness programs across multiple shifts.
• Partner with leaders, employees, unions and regulators to achieve strong HSES outcomes.
• Monitor performance, prepare reports and ensure timely incident management and action closure.
