Job summary

Team Global Express, an Australian-owned transport and logistics company, is seeking an HSE Programs & Systems Advisor to join the Melbourne team. You will drive reporting, governance, and system administration to enhance safety across our national operation.

The role focuses on data analysis, HSE platform administration (Evotix, Chemwatch), and continuous improvement across risk management, contractor oversight and governance initiatives. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Health, Safety & Environment, Risk, Compliance, or similar roles.
  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety.
  • Strong Excel skills and data/reporting experience.
  • Knowledge of Australian Workplace Health & Safety legislation.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing development and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System.
  • Prepare and analyse HSE reports, dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Track corrective actions, governance activities, audits and assurance programs.
  • Provide administration and user support for HSE platforms (Evotix, Chemwatch).
  • Support bids, tenders, customer audits and due diligence with accurate HSE data.
  • Assist with risk management, contractor management, governance and Chain of Responsibility projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve systems, processes and safety outcomes.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement through data analysis.

We're looking for an HSE Programs & Systems Advisor to join our Melbourne based HSE team and play a key role in supporting and evolving our Health, Safety & Environment Management System. Working closely with the Manager – HSE Programs & Systems, you'll help drive reporting, governance, systems administration, continuous improvement initiatives and projects that enhance safety outcomes across our national operation.

This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging HSE professional who enjoys working with data, systems and stakeholders, and is eager to broaden their experience across risk management, governance, contractor management, technology platforms and operational safety programs.

What You'll Do
  • Support the ongoing development and continuous improvement of Team Global Express' HSE Management System
  • Prepare and analyse HSE reports, dashboards and performance metrics to provide meaningful business insights
  • Track corrective actions, governance activities, audits and assurance programs to help maintain compliance and drive improvement
  • Provide administration and user support for HSE platforms, including Evotix, Chemwatch and other digital solutions
  • Support bids, tenders, customer audits and due diligence activities by providing accurate HSE information and performance data.
  • Assist with projects across risk management, contractor management, governance and Chain of Responsibility initiatives.
  • Work closely with operational and corporate stakeholders to improve systems, processes and safety outcomes
  • Help identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities for continuous improvement through data analysis and reporting
What You'll Bring
  • Experience in a Health, Safety & Environment, Risk, Compliance or similar role.
  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Australian Workplace Health & Safety legislation.
  • A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved.
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to work independently while also following direction and delivering outcomes as part of a collaborative team.
Highly Regarded
  • Experience with Power BI, Evotix and/or Chemwatch
  • Exposure to AI and digital optimisation tools.
  • Experience within transport, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or another operational environment
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001, HVNL and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
