HitachiRail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated HSE Manager – NSW & NZ who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Sydney, Australia. You will play a key role in securing and delivering major rail and infrastructure projects in Australia and NewZealand. Reporting to the Director HSE APAC, you will lead HSE performance for NSW and NZ while acting as lead HSE representative on the current High-Speed Rail and other strategic bids, Federal Safety Commissioner (FSC) accreditation and High Reliability Organisation (HRO) initiatives. This role is ideal for a commercially minded HSE leader who enjoys both operational excellence and pre-contract work. You will partner with bid, engineering, construction, and commercial teams to develop winning HSE strategies for major rail projects.
