Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management in Hobart (Cambridge TAS) is seeking an experienced HR Driver for permanent full-time work starting 5:30am. You will operate side lift trucks, perform loading/unloading of waste, and deliver loads to recycling and disposal facilities while maintaining a high standard of safety and vehicle presentation.

Must hold a valid HR licence, have a proven driving record, and be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.

Qualifications

• Must have HR Licence with some experience.
• Strong work background in waste handling is preferred.
• Experience with side lift is desirable but training is available for the right candidate.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing.
• Available for early morning start at 5.30am and maintain a clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service ethic and teamwork a must.

Responsibilities

• Operate side lift collection vehicle for municipal contracts.
• Load and unload waste safely and efficiently.
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Maintain vehicle presentation inside and out.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and safety.
