Job summary

Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure is seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver to join our Sydney team. Based in Sydney, this role will involve occasional travel to Wollongong and regional NSW, with short overnight stays when required.

You’ll operate VAC/Sweeper trucks on project sites and support loading, unloading, and routine vehicle checks. We value safety, ability to work independently or as part of a crew, and a valid HR license with a White Card.

Responsibilities

• Operate VAC trucks across Sydney and regional NSW sites.

About The Role

We’re on the lookout for an experienced HR Truck Drivers to join our Sydney team. Based in Sydney, this role will involve occasional travel to Wollongong and regional areas, including short overnight stays when required. The successful candidate may also be asked to assist with general site duties to support operational requirements. You’ll be working alongside a passionate and skilled crew, helping to deliver key infrastructure projects.

• Safely operate VAC trucks across our project sites in Sydney and regional NSW.
• Performing daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Adhering to all road and workplace safety regulations.
• Assisting with loading and unloading as required.
• Communicating effectively with site teams to ensure timely deliveries.

What We’re Looking For

• A current Australian HR driver’s license (essential)
• A valid White Card.
• Sweeper or VAC Truck operating experience will be highly regarded.
• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to regional project sites and work away from home for short periods when needed.
• Experience within construction or civil infrastructure is considered advantageous.
