Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience driving Heavy Rigid (HR) trucks in a commercial transport or logistics setting.
• Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) truck driver's license is essential.
• Strong time management, safety focus, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Position vehicles for loading/unloading safely.
• Load and unload goods with lifting/tipping devices.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and regular maintenance checks.
• Estimate cargo weight and manage load distribution.
• Secure cargo and verify delivery documents.
• Plan routes considering traffic, weather, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain professional communication with clients during deliveries.
• Respond to on-road emergencies or delays and inform coordinators.
