Job summary

The Green Centre in Melbourne's northern suburbs invites applications for a full-time truck driver from immediate start. You’ll operate tandem and smaller trucks, with a preference for truck and trailer experience and knowledge of non‑synco/Road Ranger gear boxes.

Work days are Monday to Friday, 6:30am–2:30pm, with consistent hours and deliveries to the north and west of Melbourne. Our small team values camaraderie and BBQ Fridays; applicants must hold a HC licence and provide a current driving

Qualifications

• HC Truck Drivers Licence is required.
• Ability to drive Non Syncro gear box / Road Ranger gear boxes.
• Must be able to provide a current driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive tandem and smaller trucks as part of daily deliveries.
• Deliveries to the north and west of Melbourne with minimal city crossing.
• Maintain timely and safe delivery schedules and vehicle care.

Job description

The Green Centre has a full time driving position available for immediate start. A garden supply business located in Tullamarine, we have an opportunity for an experienced truck driver. The role involves driving tandem and smaller trucks, but someone with truck and trailer experience is preferred.

To be successful you MUST know how to drive a road ranger gear box.

The days required will be Monday to Friday 6.30am to 2.30pm. Enjoy your afternoons as those hours are very consistent. We are a small workplace where everyone gets on and have BBQ every Friday. The job will see you do deliveries in the north and west of Melbourne, we don't like to cross the city much.
