Job summary

Job Play is seeking an experienced HR Tipper Truck Driver to join a well-established civil construction client around Toowoomba. You will cart materials around site and between sites, working with a tight-knit crew on active civil projects, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key requirements include a current Australian HR licence and a White Card, plus prior tipper truck experience on construction sites. Enjoy weekly pay, local Toowoomba work, and on-site teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current Australian HR licence required.
• White Card (Construction Induction) required.
• Experience operating tipper trucks on civil/construction sites.
• Ability to work safely on busy, uneven sites.
• Own PPE (steel caps, hi-vis, hard hat, safety glasses)
• Reliable transport to site and good attendance record.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tipper truck safely on active civil sites.
• Cart materials around site and between sites.
• Perform daily pre-start checks and fault reporting.
• Load/unload with correct load restraint.
• Coordinate with excavator operators, spotters and site supervisors.
• Assist crew with general labouring duties between loads.
• Follow site safety requirements, SWMS and traffic plans.

What you'll be doing

• Operating a tipper truck safely on and around active civil construction sites
• Carting spoil, gravel, road base and materials around site and between sites
• Daily pre-start checks, fault reporting and basic truck maintenance
• Loading and unloading with correct load restraint
• Working in with excavator operators, spotters and site supervisors
• Assisting the crew with general labouring duties between loads
• Following site safety requirements, SWMS and traffic management plans

What you'll need

• Current Australian HR licence (non-negotiable)
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Previous tipper truck experience on civil or construction sites
• Confidence operating in tight, uneven and busy site conditions
• Own PPE (steel caps, hi-vis, hard hat, safety glasses)
• Reliable transport to site and a strong attendance record
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen

Highly regarded:

• Load restraint and/or fatigue management training
• Truck & Dog or HC experience
• Traffic control ticket
• Clean traffic history report
