Job summary

Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) is seeking an Advisor HR Strategy to shape AMSA s learning, organisation development and workforce capability initiatives. The role blends HR business partnering with a specialist portfolio, reporting to the Director HR Strategy and supervising one direct report.

You will lead AMSA s learning and development strategy, design and evaluate programs, manage the LMS and governance, and promote a culture of continuous learning and leadership throughout the

Qualifications

• tertiary level qualifications in HRM, commerce or psychology or equivalent
• Extensive HR experience partnering with client areas to design and deliver HR Strategy programs
• Knowledge of learning and development, organisational development and LMS
• Understanding of employment legislation (Fair Work Act, WHS Act) and applying it to advise clients
• Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven recommendations
• Strong written and verbal communication to influence stakeholders
• Ability to lead staff, collaborate in a small team and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Lead AMSA s learning and development strategy and corporate learning portfolio
• Provide expert advice on workforce capability and development priorities
• Design and evaluate learning programs that are effective and compliant
• Manage the Learning Management System and governance framework
• Drive a culture of continuous learning and leadership development across AMSA
• Build relationships with Senior Leadership Group and connect business areas with HR experts
