Cochrane's Transport in South Australia is seeking a qualified HR Night Country Driver to operate from Gillman depot, handling long-distance regional runs that include bread deliveries and general freight. The position runs 10–12 hours per shift, up to five nights weekly, with trips paid on a competitive rate.
You will join a well-maintained fleet focused on safety and customer service, working Monday through Sunday as required and aiming to deliver reliable, on-time service across regional SA.

We are currently searching for a qualified HR Night Country Driver who is looking for their next career opportunity working with a modern, well-maintained fleet fitted with enhanced safety features designed with driver comfort and fitness in mind.
This position operate on a regular work pattern, departing from our Gillman depot in the evening and returning the following morning. You will be responsible for completing long-distance regional runs, servicing our established customers and delivering a combination of general freight and bread products.
A key part of this role involves completing regular bread deliveries to established customer locations throughout regional South Australia, alongside general freight deliveries. You can expect to complete approximately 15-20 deliveries per run, providing reliable and professional service to our customers while working efficiently and safely.
You will generally commence at the Gillman depot between 7:00pm and 9:00pm, completing runs averaging approximately 10-12 hours, up to five nights per week. This role is paid on a trip rate, offering a competitive rate based on the runs completed.
