Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management is hiring a driver for our permanent, full-time role based in Picton Bunbury, WA. You will operate a range of waste collection trucks, load and transport materials to recycling or disposal facilities, and provide excellent customer service.

A pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening are part of our safety-focused recruitment process. Unrestricted HR Licence is required, with an ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted HR Licence is required.
• Experience or willingness to operate a variety of trucks.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential.
• Clean driving record.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating waste collection vehicles.
• Loading, transporting and unloading commercial and industrial waste materials.
• Delivering loads to designated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining vehicle presentation.
• Complying with fatigue management, safety and operational requirements.
