Nortrans in Mackay, Queensland is seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our road transport team. This full-time role focuses on safe delivery of gas cylinders across regional routes.

You will operate heavy vehicles, complete daily inspections, maintain logs, and provide excellent customer service. A valid HR licence and at least two years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• HR licence with clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in heavy vehicle driving.
• Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

As a HR Driver, you will play a crucial role in our full-time road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of gas cylinders across the region. What you’ll be doing

Safely operating heavy vehicles to transport gas cylinders across regional routes

Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies

Performing daily vehicle Pre and post inspections

Maintaining accurate logbooks and records of deliveries

Providing excellent customer service to clients

What we’re looking for

Valid HR driver’s licence with a clean driving record

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar heavy vehicle driving role

Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to providing high-quality customer service

Good physical fitness to handle the demands of the role
