Job summary

South East Queensland Hauliers, based in Hemmant, Brisbane QLD, is seeking an HR Truck Driver for a casual, Monday–Friday day-shift role. You will operate HR trucks, perform daily inspections, and ensure safe, on-time container deliveries while maintaining professional conduct with customers and team members.

The position offers a pathway to full-time employment with a supportive, family-owned transport business, and includes overtime opportunities, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Hold a current HR driver's licence.
• Experience driving heavy vehicles.
• Experience in container transport, or willingness to learn.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HR truck for container transport operations.
• Complete container pick-ups and deliveries as scheduled.
• Conduct daily pre-start vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow allocated schedules and delivery requirements.
• Ensure loads and equipment are handled safely and responsibly.
• Complete required paperwork and operational documentation.
• Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with colleagues and customers.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

South East Queensland Hauliers (SEQH) is growing, and we're looking for a reliable, motivated and safety-conscious HR Truck Driver to join our team in Hemmant.

Following an internal promotion, we're looking for a new driver to join our family-owned transport and logistics business. If you're hardworking, dependable and take pride in working safely, we'd love to hear from you!

What's on Offer?

• $36.39 per hour + superannuation.

• Overtime rates of $54.58 and $65.50 per hour, as applicable.

• Monday to Friday, day shift.
