Job summary

Coffs Freight Services in the Coffs Harbour region is seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver for local beverage delivery. You will work on a home-daily schedule, loading and unloading, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.

The role requires an HR license, safe driving, ability to lift, and compliance with HVNL and CoR. Pre-employment checks include police clearance and medical testing; forklift licence is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current HR license.
• Strong customer service and professional presentation.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Physically fit with ability to perform repetitive lifting.
• Police check required; pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• HVNL and CoR knowledge or willingness to train.
• Forklift licence desirable.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dependable and customer‑focused HR Truck Driver to join our beverage distribution team. This role suits someone who enjoys local work, takes pride in safe and efficient deliveries, and values being part of a well‑organized, supportive operation.

About the Role

• Local beverage deliveries to pubs, clubs, cafés, restaurants, and retail outlets
• Operating HR vehicles safely and professionally
• Manual handling of beverage products (kegs, cartons, pallets)
• Loading and unloading using pallet jacks, trolleys, forklifts, and lift‑assisted equipment
• Maintaining delivery schedules and providing excellent customer service
• Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
• Adhering to all Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) requirements
• Following Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Current HR license
• Strong customer service skills and professional presentation
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting
• Experience in beverage or general freight delivery (preferred but not essential)
• National Police Check required
• Drug & Alcohol screening required (pre‑employment and random testing)
• Pre‑employment medical assessment required
• Understanding of HVNL and CoR compliance (or willingness to undertake training)
