Job summary

EY is hiring an HR Consultant to deliver high-quality HR transactional support and policy advice across Australia, acting as a key connector between staff and Talent teams. This 12-month contract role is hybrid and can be based from EY offices across Australia, with options for reduced hours.

You will handle HR transactions, provide clear HR guidance, and partner with payroll, mobility and other functions to drive compliant, human-centred HR operations and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely HR transaction processing (e.g. leave, promotions, employment changes) while maintaining data integrity in systems such as SuccessFactors.
• Provide clear, responsive and human-centred HR advice to employees and stakeholders, supporting policy interpretation and employee experience outcomes.
• Collaborate with Talent teams, payroll, mobility and other business functions to ensure seamless and compliant HR operations and continuous improvement.

HR Consultant

The opportunity

As our People Team Consultant, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality HR transactional support, policy advice and operational excellence across the business. You'll act as a key connector between employees and specialist Talent teams, ensuring consistent, accurate and human-centred HR support, while contributing to broader Talent initiatives and continuous improvement.

This is a hybrid position offered on a 12-month contract and can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities
