Job summary

Perigon Group is seeking an HR Business Partner - Client Services in Sydney. This role blends hands-on HR with ER/IR and client relationship management to support a large, national workforce.

You will partner with senior stakeholders across two divisions, handling day-to-day HR matters and acting as the primary HR contact for the client. The position is hybrid in Sydney and permanent, demanding a proactive, solutions-focused HR professional.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' HR experience in Australia.
• Strong ER/IR experience and knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
• Excellent attention to detail and a highly process-driven approach.
• Pragmatic and commercially minded, with a focus on finding solutions.
• Mature and confident dealing with senior stakeholders.
• Highly responsive and able to work autonomously.
• Agency or client-service experience advantageous, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of ER/IR matters, including performance, conduct, workplace issues and workers compensation.
• Coach managers through employee relations processes and provide pragmatic HR advice.
• Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to offboarding.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and the client.
• Ensure processes, approvals and reporting are managed accurately.
• Support headcount, budgeting and forecasting requirements.
• Proactively identify issues and anticipate client needs.
• Own the client relationship and act as their key point of contact for HR and people matters.
• Stay ahead of what's happening across the business and proactively anticipate client needs.
