Job summary

Australian Islamic College seeks a Secondary HPE teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant will hold QCT registration, a relevant degree, and have experience teaching in Queensland high schools. You will use ICT to create an engaging, student-centered learning environment and work collaboratively with staff, students and families.

The role is based at AIIC in Queensland, with extensions possible and opportunities for leadership within the school’s evolving learning community.

Qualifications

• The successful applicant must hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
• Must hold a relevant recognised degree.
• Experience teaching in Queensland high schools is required.
• Demonstrates a responsive, proactive classroom management approach.
• Willingness to work with colleagues, students and parents in a PLC.
• Ability to creatively use ICT to enhance learning.
• Passion and enthusiasm to enrich students’ learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Health and Physical Education (HPE) lessons to secondary students.
