Job summary

EVT Group’s Rydges South Park Adelaide is seeking a friendly Housekeeping Attendant to keep guest rooms and public areas spotless, delivering a warm, home-away-from-home feel for guests on business, weddings and events.

You will work as part of the housekeeping team, with a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays, and receive Daymaker perks from day one—dining and hotel discounts, cinema tickets, parental leave support and career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms and public areas to the hotel's high standards within allocated timeframes.
• Replenish guest amenities, linen and supplies, ensuring rooms are presented consistently and ready for arrival.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages or lost property promptly and accurately.
• Follow correct procedures for handling cleaning chemicals, equipment and laundry in line with WH&S guidelines.
• Respond to guest requests and special needs in a timely, friendly manner.
• Accurately update room status to keep reception informed in real time.
• Work collaboratively with the wider housekeeping team and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.

About the Role

Overlooking the Adelaide Parklands and just minutes from the CBD, Rydges South Park Adelaide is home to guests visiting for business, weddings and events in our Skyline Events Centre, or simply looking to unwind by the rooftop pool. We are looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to help deliver that home-away-from-home feeling across our rooms and public areas, taking pride in the detail that makes every stay memorable, whether it's a quick overnight or a longer break.

Key Responsibilities
