Job summary

West Beach Parks in Australia is hiring Housekeepers on casual shifts. You will clean guest rooms to high standards, restock towels and linen, and report maintenance or lost property as needed. A current Australian driver’s license is an essential requirement.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms to West Beach Parks high standards (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, public areas).
• Restock towels and linen; ensure correct storage.
• Report maintenance requirements and any lost property.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, used and stored safely.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and follow safety practices.

Job Description

To be successful in obtaining a position with us as a Housekeeper you must have a current valid Australian driver’s license. This is an essential requirement in order to obtain a Housekeeping position with us and if you do not have a current valid Australian driver’s license we politely request that you do not apply. There is no requirement for applicants to have a vehicle, just a current valid Australian driver’s license.

To join our team you will also have:

• Knowledge of safety in the workplace
• Strong work ethic and communication skills
• Extremely high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• The ability to work under pressure
• A national police clearance (or willing to obtain one)

Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience will be an advantage.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning guest rooms; including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and public areas to West Beach Parks high standards.
• Ensuring towels and linen are refilled, replaced and stored correctly
• Reporting maintenance requirements
• Reporting any lost property
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly
• Using appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes ensuring safe work practices are maintained

There are multiple positions available and they’re offered on a casual basis and shifts are given on a rotating roster across the full 7 days of the week, including weekends and public holidays.
