Job summary

A prominent educational institution in South Australia is seeking an Hourly Paid Instructor to provide quality educational services including training and assessment. The ideal candidate has at least two to three years of industry experience as a Hairdresser, Beauty Therapist, or Make Up artist, along with a relevant certificate. Your Next Adventure

The primary role of a TAFE SA Hourly Paid Instructor (HPI) is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. HPI’s may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.

Got What It Takes?
  • Certificate IV in TAE40116 or equivalent and currency in education as per Standards for Registered Training Organisations in Role Descriptor
  • Minimum of two to three years industry experience (which does not include an apprenticeship or traineeship) as either a Hairdresser, Beauty Therapist or Make Up artist in Australia.
  • Relevant certificate in either Salon Assistant, Hairdressing, Make-Up, Beauty Services or equivalent
What You Need to Know

A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
