Job summary

Bupa Dural is seeking a friendly hospitality team member to support the care home’s catering, cleaning and laundry services. You will work with residents to provide meals, maintain cleanliness, and help create a warm, welcoming environment.

Previous experience in catering or cleaning is preferred but not essential. The role offers flexible shifts, on‑the‑job training, and a supportive team focused on resident health and well‑being.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential.
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week.
• Understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards.
• Complete required documentation and reporting.
• Respond to residents’ queries and requests.
• Laundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linen.
• Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, provide meals and snacks, clear dining areas and dishwashing.
• Cleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in the residents’ rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas.

The charming Bupa Dural is a modern care home set in a semi-rural suburb within Sydney’s Hills District. You’ll be close to the local community with neighbouring parks, recreation centre, shopping mall and school. It consists of 102 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well‑being of our residents.

About the Role

To deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering, cleaning and laundry

Use your fantastic food services and cleaning skills in a role where you really can make a difference by providing our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.

About you
