Job summary

TAFE NSW is seeking a Class Preparation Assistant in the Hospitality section to support learning environments in our training kitchens.

You will prepare spaces, organise ingredients, maintain stock levels and support ordering, while upholding food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance. This casual role suits flexible contributors who enjoy hands-on work and close collaboration with teaching staff.

Qualifications

• Certificate II in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
• Sound knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles and safe work practices.
• Current Responsible Services of Alcohol Certification (if required).
• Knowledge of relevant consumables and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare training kitchens and learning spaces to support classes.
• Organise ingredients and supplies for daily classes and maintain stock levels.
• Support ordering requirements and ensure equipment, resources and facilities are ready for use.
