Job summary

Infinite Aged Care is seeking dedicated Housekeeping Assistants to join our Logan area team. You will clean resident rooms, communal areas, dining rooms, and administration spaces, and run laundry services to maintain a comfortable, homely environment for residents.

These roles are physical and hands-on, requiring bending, lifting and safe use of cleaning chemicals. We value compassion, teamwork and a commitment to resident wellbeing, with no prior aged care experience required.

The Role

At Infinite Aged Care, our Hotel Services team plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. Opportunities are available across Housekeeping, Cleaning, and Laundry, with each position contributing to the delivery of quality hospitality services that support residents' comfort, wellbeing, and daily living.

Aged Care Logan – Cornubia Aged Care Facility | Infin8 Care

Our Housekeeping Assistants provide essential cleaning and laundry services while maintaining high standards of infection control and workplace safety. Key responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, communal areas, dining rooms, administration offices, entrances, and outdoor spaces, as well as delivering laundry services that help ensure residents enjoy a comfortable and homely environment every day.

These roles are hands-on and physical, whereby you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is important you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents.

About You

You are compassionate, service-focused, and enjoy working in a team environment. You have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and take pride in delivering excellent service - whether through cleaning, food preparation, or customer interaction.

At Infinite Age Care, we hire on attitude and aptitude, so you DO NOT need experience in the aged care sector, you do however need to be aligned with our philosophy and values, have strong communication skills, be computer literate and a commitment to resident wellbeing as well as the following,

• Demonstrated cleaning, hospitality, food service, or customer service (preferred but not essential depending on the role).
• Ability to work off set checklists on a daily basis and follow agreed procedures for safety.
• Ability to work with chemicals, hazardous products and heated equipment in a very safe manner.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and high empathy as interacting with residents is a daily occurrence.
• Ability to turn up to shift on time, be ready to start your shifts and follow the day's activities in a positive manner.
• Adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks and supporting colleagues at all times so everyone goes home safe and positive.
