Job summary

Infinite Aged Care Pty Ltd in Toowoomba is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Assistant to support plating, meal service and dining room setup in a busy commercial kitchen within Mount Lofty Nursing Home.

You will work with the Chef Manager and Hotel Services Team, follow food safety and WHS procedures, and contribute to residents' daily dining experiences. Rotating AM/PM shifts, part-time role.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or commercial Servery experience (or strong interest in developing these skills).
• Strong communication, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Reliable, adaptable team players who thrive in a busy kitchen and can support a variety of shifts.

This role is a physical & fast paced with a lot of variety, you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is important you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents.

About You

• Hospitality or commercial Servery experience (or a strong interest in developing these skills).

NOT suitable for candidates studying personal care or nursing, as training and development focus exclusively on commercial kitchen operations.
