Job description
  • 3-4 months fixed term contract

  • Grade 1 or 2 level role

Join a small department Social Worker with 5.8 permanent FTE (combination of Grade 1, 2 and 3). The team are responsible for service provision across acute, sub- acute and outpatient specialist clinics. The caseload will be varied, including an increasing number of patients and families presenting with complex social situations.

The acute units include Medical, Surgical, Oncology, Maternity, Critical Care, Paediatrics, Emergency and across the Outpatient Clinics including Renal and Ante Natal.

You’ll work as a member of a cohesive team, you will be well supported as you manage a diverse caseload providing practical and emotional support to patients and their families to assist in the management of changes to health and wellbeing.
