Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Security Officer for the Sydney Hospital and Sydney Eye Hospital campus on a holiday relief basis. The role is full-time (38 hours per week) with a yearly remuneration around AUD65,703.26 plus superannuation.

Applicants must hold NSW Security licence 1A, a valid NSW driver’s licence, and a current first aid certificate. The Security Officer will respond to requests for staff, patients, and visitors, conduct patrols, manage alarms and CCTV, and maintain detailed shift

Qualifications

• Must hold NSW Security licence 1A, NSW Driver's licence 'C' and a current first aid certificate.
• Experience in security and customer service in large client base environments.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete patrols during shifts.
• Experience with alarm systems, access control, CCTV, and Fire Indication panels.
• Excellent written communication for report writing and logs.

• Respond to requests for assistance from staff, patients and visitors.
• Promptly respond to emergencies and complete patrols and security tasks during shifts.
• Promote a cohesive and inclusive security team environment.
