Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at Eurobodalla Regional Hospital. This permanent full-time role (38 hours/week) supports pharmacists and delivers patient care in a hospital setting on the NSW coast.

You will provide technical support across hospital pharmacy practice under supervision, with opportunities to develop skills within a large health district. A rewarding role with health benefits and a supportive team is offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to work in hospital pharmacy.
• Qualified as Pharmacy Assistant/Technician with Cert III or Cert IV per NSW Health award.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and healthcare team.
• Good organisation with deadlines and attention to detail; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use computer programs relevant to hospital/pharmacy systems.
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Pharmacy Department under supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Assist with dispensing and related pharmacy tasks as directed by a pharmacist.
• Support stock control and patient counselling as needed.
