Job summary

Matthew C Smith Racing Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Horse Truck Driver/Stablehand to join the Warwick Farm team. The role combines paddock runs with transport to beaches, trials and race meetings, with cleaning and basic maintenance of the truck required.

A positive horse-handling approach and confidence around horses are essential. The position offers a full-time opportunity or casual basis with a competitive rate of pay.

Qualifications

• MR license (or higher) and NSW Driver License current.
• Racing NSW Stablehand Licence required.
• Excellent horse handling with confidence around horses.
• Experience with paddock runs and transport to tracks.

Responsibilities

• Carry paddock runs and transport horses to beaches, trials and races.
• Clean the truck and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Support stable operations and ensure horse confidence during handling.
