Job summary

Robert Quinn Racing is looking for an experienced Horse Trainer to join our high-performing racing stable at Warwick Farm, Sydney. The role is permanent, full-time, with a salary between $80,000 and $85,000 per year, based on experience, for a 38-hour work week.

The successful candidate will manage daily horse care, feeding, exercise, and supervision of staff, with responsibilities including taking charge of the stables in the trainer's absence.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or equivalent qualification or a minimum of three years professional experience.
• Experience with daily horse care, feeds, and exercise routines is expected.
• Ability to delegate and supervise staff in the trainer's absence.

Responsibilities

• Daily care of horses in the stables.
• Preparing daily feeds and diets for each horse.
• Supervising daily exercise and horse handling.
• Swimming horses, handling horses on the treadmill.
• Delegating tasks to staff members.
• Taking charge of the stables when the trainer is away.

Robert Quinn Racing Robert Quinn Racing is looking for an experienced Horse Trainer to join our business. We are a high performing Racing Stable at Warwick Farm in Sydney. We specialize in sourcing young and proven Racehorses from Australia and Overseas to compete at the highest level in Races across Australia.

Benefits Salary $80,000 to $85,000 pa depending on experience. Full time position (38 hours pw)

Task & responsibilities

• 1. Daily care of horses in the stables.
• 2. Preparing the daily feeds and diets of each horse.
• 3. Preparing and watching the horses in daily exercise.
• 4. Swimming Horses, Handling Horses on the Treadmill.
• 5. Delegating to staff members.
• 6. Taking charge of the stables in the absence of the trainer.

Qualification & experience

Certificate III or equivalent international qualification, or in the absence of qualification a minimum of three years professional experience.
