Job summary

Resthaven is seeking a Home Support Worker to help older people remain independent at home, with flexible hours that fit your life. You will provide personal care, light cleaning and social engagement across Riverland communities including Loxton.

Casual pay rates range from AUD 43.54 to 45.98 per hour, inclusive of casual loading. We also pay travelling time between clients, supporting a meaningful, balanced lifestyle while making a difference in the lives of clients.

Qualifications

• Empathetic by nature and committed to supporting older people
• Must hold a current driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or related qualification
• Applicants who speak Italian or Greek encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, daily tasks and mobility support
• Provide cleaning, meal prep and social engagement at home
• Work across a variety of days and times with flexible hours
• Support clients in Riverland and surrounding areas including Loxton

Your hours will enable flexibility to fit in with your family and other responsibilities. And, unlike many similar roles, we also pay for your travelling time between clients.

Essential Criteria:

• You have an empathetic nature and are committed to supporting the needs of older people
• You hold a current driver's licence and have access to a reliable, well maintained and insured vehicle
• Have a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or a related qualification
• Applicants who speak Italian or Greek encouraged to apply

Casual pay rates range from $43.54 per hour to $45.98 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
