Job summary

BaptistCare NSW/ACT - Aged Care in Leeton NSW is seeking a Care Worker to support clients in their own homes. You will travel between client locations across Leeton and surrounds, assisting with daily activities and providing quality complex care where needed.

The role is permanent part-time (up to 20 hours per fortnight) with Wednesday availability. You’ll be supported by a supervisor, receive a phone for work, and have access to development opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Must have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication skills with resilience and patience.
• Proficient with smartphone technology, apps and email.
• Ability to travel between multiple client locations within Leeton and surrounds.
• Permanent part-time role with up to 20 hours per fortnight and Wednesday availability.

Responsibilities

• Support with household tasks such as cleaning, showering, dressing, meal prep and transport.
• Provide medication assistance and continence support as part of in-home care.
• Develop genuine connections with clients to help them live independently at home.
• Travel between client locations as part of day-to-day responsibilities.
