Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland is seeking Service Support Workers to assist clients across Cecil Plains and surrounding Queensland areas. You will provide cleaning support in clients' homes, follow domestic care plans, and maintain professional boundaries while communicating clearly with clients and families.

Ideal applicants have cleaning experience, are comfortable with housekeeping equipment, can work independently with the elderly, and hold a current driver's license with reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning.
• Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment.
• Able to follow domestic care plans.
• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively with the elderly.
• The physical demands of this role include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching.
• Cert II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) highly regarded but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning support to clients in their homes.
• Service clients across Pittsworth and Millmerran.
• Maintain professional boundaries and communicate clearly with clients and families.
