Job summary

Mediix Recruitment Pty Ltd. partners with a Melbourne allied health practice to recruit an Occupational Therapist for home-based and community OT work across diverse client groups.

Join a team of OTs, physio and speech in clients’ homes with contractor-style scheduling and a steady referral pipeline. If you’re registered with AHPRA and have Australian working rights, this flexible, client-centered role could be for you.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Own car and a current driver’s licence; travel to client homes.
• Confident working independently and organising your own time.
• NDIS experience is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Home based and community OT for children, adults and older people.
• Functional and daily living assessments, goals and clear, practical reports.
• Equipment and assistive technology recommendations.
• Supporting clients recovering from injury or surgery, and clients with physical, cognitive or developmental needs.
• Working with referrers such as support coordinators, plan managers, GPs and hospitals, who send a steady flow of referrals.
• Input into home modification projects, with the chance to build experience in this area.
