Job summary

Smokemart & GiftBox in Mackay region is seeking Sales Assistants for the busy holiday period across our 250+ store network. You will engage with customers, help them find the perfect gifts, and contribute to a lively, friendly shopping environment.

Applicants must be at least 18, available November 2026 to January 2027 (including holidays) and able to work weekends. A police check is required, and you should be comfortable standing for extended periods while assisting customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Availability to work Nov 2026 – Jan 2027 (including public holidays).
• Roster across 7 days a week (weekends required).
• Police Check required to commence.
• Able to be on your feet and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout and in-store.
• Maintain store presentation and cleanliness.
• Support promotions and in-store events.
